Parenting:

The Visiting Teacher Service provides a home-school link for deaf children, from birth to third-level.

Tusla.ie (the Child and Family Agency) is the State agency for improving wellbeing and outcomes for children.

SNPA supports all parents of persons with special needs and disability, irrespective of age or diagnosis.

Rollercoaster.ie is Ireland’s leading pregnancy and parenting website.

Eumom.ie connects moms with parenting experts and reputable brands.

Schooldays.ie is Ireland’s online resource for parents and teachers.

 


 

Home Teaching Advice:

Sensational Kids runs a kids’ occupational therapy centre in Co. Kildare.

Hometrain is a preschool learning programme with lesson plans & games.

HelpMyKidLearn.ie is for families to support children’s literacy and numeracy development

Seomra Ranga has a list of educational blogs on its website.

 


 

Education Agencies:

Educational Welfare Services are delivered via Tusla.ie, the Child and Family agency.

The Irish Association of Teachers in Special Education is a national network.

The US-based Deaf Education website lists a Knowledge Base with links.

The National Council for Special Education plans special-needs education.
