Our favourite story here, is the office worker who overheard a colleague on the phone nearby with full access to the topic and context of the discussion. This improved speech perception can be a wearer’s biggest benefit from an implant, with accuracy scores of 90 to 95 per cent routinely reported, after genuine struggles to hear speech before surgery.
